FETCH IV is a One-Off 24.38m Sailing Yacht, designed by the well known Bill Tripp, an American naval architect who created many popular wooden and later fiberglass sailboat designs. Built in Italy by Soleri / Paolo De Cesari and delivered in 2003, her powercomes from a Cummins diesel engine. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 + 1 staterooms, with 2 crew members waiting on their every need.Her interior was designed by Vittorio Mariani and built with a Teak deck,Carbon Hull Carbon superstructure and Carbon mast and sails. FETCH IV is a high technology sloop designed to race in the Mediterranean Maxi Cruiser/Racer class as well as to cruise extensively. She is a slender boat with a plumb bow and narrow waterlines forward. The lifting keel system allows for wonderful sailing qualities providing excellent stability, reducing weight and allowing access to harbors and shallow anchorages. The rig is a runnerless fractional mast with non-overlapping jib and asymmetric spinnakers set off a retractable bow pole on centerline. The yacht has a fully fitted out interior, four guest cabins with ensuites and a crew cabin. The cored interior is veneered in teak and mahogany for a rich yet modern cruising interior. Full cruising systems can be found aboard providing all the comforts expected from a high-end yacht. The deck plan features a low house, a flush foredeck and flush hatches. Amidships is a guest cockpit, while the sailing cockpit is aft.
